In observance of the Labor Day holiday, Afton Express will not operate. The regular schedule will resume Tuesday, September 3.
Bus Stop Relocation Notice: Beginning Tuesday, September 3, 2024, the Staunton Mall bus stop will relocate to the Staunton Crossing Way Park and Ride Lot (210 Crossing Way, Staunton). The schedule will be updated on the website on Saturday, August 31, 2024. Please call 540-943-9302 with any questions. See you at our new locations!
Beginning Friday, August 30, the buses will no longer hub at the Temporary Hub on North Augusta Street. Buses will resume travel to the newly renovated Lewis Street Transit Hub.
Due to the construction at Fontaine Research Park and the reduction in parking availability, UVA has partnered with Afton Express to provide service to Fontaine Research Park beginning, Tuesday, May 28. The stop will be located outside of 515 Ray C. Hunt Drive, and will be served by two Afton Express trips in the AM and two trips in the PM.

In observance of the Labor Day holiday, BRITE and Afton Express will be operating the following schedule: BRITE Bus There will be no service with the exception of the Staunton Downtown Trolley (10AM-9PM) and the BRCC Shuttles (7AM-7PM). Afton Express No service on Monday, September 2. Regular schedules resume Tuesday, September 3.
