11/28 & 11/29: NO Afton Express Service

Due to the Thanksgiving holiday, there will be no Afton Express service on Thursday, 11/28/24, or Friday, 11/29/24. Afton Express routes will run as usual on Wednesday, 11/27/24.

11/28: NO BRITE Service

Due to the Thanksgiving holiday, there will be no BRITE bus service on Thursday, 11/28/24. BRITE routes will operate regular schedules on Wednesday 11/27 and Friday 11/29.  

11/1: West / North Loops & Trolley Route & Schedule Change

The former North & West Loops that operated as two, 30-minutes loops will now be one, one-hour loop called the West / North Loop. This one-hour loop will not stop at the Lewis Street Hub at the top of the hour. Additionally, the West / North route will now have a CALL stop located at Middlebrook Trace apartments (Middlebrook Ave / Moore St). The hours of operation will also change. New hours of operation:

• Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM – 7:30 PM
• Saturday, 7:30 AM – 5:30 PM.

As a part of this change, three stops that are on the current West Loop will now be served by the Staunton Downtown Trolley route – Booker T. Washington Community Center, Walnut St / Montgomery Ave, and Sudbury St / W Johnson St.

11/1: Winter Hours Effective

The Staunton Downtown Trolley and the Saturday Night Trolley will start their winter hours on November 1, 2024 and last until May 1, 2025. Hours of operation will be:

    • Monday-Saturday, 10 AM – 6 PM
  • Saturday Night Trolley
    • Saturday, 6 PM – 9 PM
